Your Opportunity
As Medallion Metals moves toward production, this is a unique opportunity to join at a defining stage of its development.  You'll be part of the team establishing operations, supporting commissioning activities and contributing to production ramp-up, gaining exposure and responsibility that can be difficult to find in larger, more established organisations.

The role exposes you to multiple ore sources, evolving operating strategies and the challenges that come with bringing a new operation into production. You won’t be stepping into a layered operation where every decision is buried in process. This is a nimble team focused on getting things done safely, efficiently and the right way the first time. You'll work alongside leaders who value practical experience and recognise that some of the best ideas come from the people closest to the work.

Just as importantly, you’ll help to build a culture founded on opportunity, respect and shared ambition. The leadership team is hands-on, approachable and committed to developing their people as Medallion advances its production profile.

This role suits experienced WHS professionals who want to stay technical and operational rather than move into pure corporate support. You will partner closely with statutory position holders, monitor contractor performance, and actively contribute as a member of the Emergency Response Team with first aid capability. Expect high field visibility, routine inspections, pre-starts, toolbox talks, and direct influence on safety culture without managing a team.

About Medallion Metals
Medallion Metals is a gold-focused mining company developing the Ravensthorpe Gold Project and Forrestania Gold Project in Western Australia.

With a clear pathway to production and a strategy centred on multiple production centres, Medallion is building a long-term Australian gold business supported by quality assets, existing infrastructure and significant growth opportunities.

As the Company continues to grow, we are building a team whose contributions will directly influence the successful delivery of our strategy. Our people play a direct role in shaping projects, solving challenges and creating value as we progress from development through to operations.

We believe our success will be driven by the quality of our people. That's why we are committed to creating an environment where individuals can make a meaningful contribution, develop professionally and share in the value they help create.

About You
This is an opportunity to apply your experience in a role where your contribution will have a visible impact on the future success of the business. You'll work closely with senior leaders who value collaboration, practical thinking and recognise that the best ideas can come from anywhere in the organisation.

From the start, you'll be:

• You will spend most of your time in operational areas delivering hands-on safety leadership across exploration, construction, mining, and processing activities.
• Provide direct coaching to supervisors and crews, verify critical controls, facilitate risk assessments, and embed practical risk-based decision making into daily work.
• Lead or support investigations, track actions to closure, and maintain MSMS compliance without bureaucracy overload.

You'll be someone who takes pride in delivering outcomes and contributing positively to the team around you. You enjoy being part of a team culture that values proactive thinking, personal responsibility and collaborative success.

Most importantly, you'll bring a positive mindset, practical approach and genuine desire to contribute to the success of both your team and the broader business.

In return, you'll gain exposure, responsibility and career development opportunities that can be difficult to find in larger, more established organisations. As Medallion grows, you'll have the opportunity to grow with us, broaden your experience, take on new challenges and help shape the future of the business.

Alongside a competitive remuneration package, Medallion offers both short and long-term incentive opportunities, ensuring employees share in the value they help create.

Experience working in start-up, growth-stage or mid-sized mining operations will be highly regarded for this position.

Next Steps
MPI Recruitment is partnering exclusively with Medallion Metals for this role.

We are shortlisting immediately and will keep the recruitment process moving efficiently. You'll receive regular updates throughout the process, with suitable applicants typically contacted within one business day.

If you want to help shape not just a mine, but a culture you’re proud to be part of, we’d welcome a confidential conversation

All applicants will receive a response.

You’ll have the opportunity to grow your skills within a stable and experienced processing team that values safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. You’ll be supported by experienced operators and leadership while gaining exposure across key areas of the plant, with the opportunity to develop your technical knowledge and build a long-term career within a successful gold operation.
